What the fuck?? Jordan is trying to put a muhfucka into financial ruin this month. Theres soooo much shit dropping and its either right before X-mas or the day after. I already got a little extra this month by picking up the new Chicago Bulls version of the Jordan 23....and the NYC Lebrons on the same day.

Then the day after I had to get the patent leather Concords from the Adidas store but then after that the black and purple Pippens (say that 3x fast) came out and well...them shits had to get got.

but now the Fusion 20 Stealth Joints are coming...

the 11/12 pack is coming...

the muthafucking cool grey

and citron spiz'ikes are coming...

and the black and red 23 Premier.

I mean what the fuck? Thats like $1050 worth of shoes in like 2 weeks. Not to mention that its during the christmas rush. Sneaker launches are fuckin annoying as it is, add x-mas shoppers, and I'm having a breakdown. This is too much for me.

On the brighter side I went to The Box last night with Jaleel. The Box is the kind of place that sorta looks like some Interview With A Vampire shit, it has some pretty good burlesque shit and S&M shows. I went there went it first opened and thought it was ok but not for me. Then famous people started going there, I heard it was on Gossip Girl, and now every girl in there is barely 21, in baby tees, trying to hang out with celebrities. Don't even think about trying to get some ass unless you're on tv in that bitch. Anyway I had a great time with my friends despite the $17 drink I bought. We ended getting a little bottle service and now I'm here hung the fuck over with the ill toothache.

So big up to Jelts for putting the Lakai Telford on my mind. As a result, I been to looking into the Telford to try to figure out why I dont have a pair. (hint) Anyway, they're dope and probably a really good skate shoe, not that it matters to me anymore but im just saying.

Shout out to Mike and Greg Carroll and Scott Johnson, some of you might remember Mike's part in the Plan B video questionable. In one scene he's rocking the Airwalk Prototypes, whatchoo know about that? EMB!

Anyway, I missed out on the chance to get those Jordan 1 Breds with the strap, I couldn't get a reservation and I damn sure wasn't trying to stand out in the cold at 6am so fuck it. AND fuck all of you re-sellers buying 20 boxes at a time to sell on Ebay, you're killing the game. In the event of failed attempt and the need to acquire kicks has not been satisfied, its like a thirst or a hunger even. So I might just rock the white ones, nobody seems to want those.

Terry Kennedy has a new signature shoe from Supra that gives me yet another reason to cop a pair.

It appears Nike and Adidas have been peeking at each others test papers becasue they both seem to have a Gucci inspired shoe coming at the same time. I'm kinda torn but you know my logic...buy them both.

..but I'm not into multicolored laces. I guess thats where the Gucci part comes in, which makes it a little subtle.

I hung out with ?uestlove the other night at some party he was djing with Sam Ronson. He had some ill shit on but since I'm a jackass and never carry a camera around I can't show you. It wasn't his AF1 I can tell you that.

That night was pretty dope. I was with my man Livingroom Johnston and super director/former H-street alumni Ryan moni-moni-monihan. We got wasted. Monihan always manages to find a way to put me in one of his projects so I can totally embarrass myself. Theres one video where me and Tunde were back up dancers for Prince Paul and were taking part in a "how to dance" DVD commercial.

It was freezing and we were only wearing t-shirts. Somehow they managed to talk me into wearing a medium...then somehow while we were filming on the backstreets of Williamsburg a drug bust went down like 20 feet away. The look on my face is called concern, it seemed like a gun battle was about to ensue for a sec.

Theres a new AF1 from toymaker Maichael Lau.

I'm not very hot in the pants for them but I totally had the chance to buy his last shoe and didn't... and now its going for $700 on Ebay.

PRESIDENT OBAMA?!? WHO KNEW?!? Who knew muthafucka? I'll tell ya who knew, Jaleel Bunton and Katy Eustis Umm..oh and Oprah. Those are the first people I know of who really kicked it to me about Barack Obama. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about him having the slightest chance of winning, mostly because he was black....

But after seeing the first debate between democrats and all of the black religious "leaders" going against him, it started to make perfect sense to me. Besides, when have those dudes ever been right about anything? I knew exactly who I wanted to win. But I still had the sense of doubt right up to the very end. I was waiting for the bullshit. I even walked away from the TV because I didnt want to see it happen after agonizing over it the entire night.

When my mom called and told me he won, I was freaked out. Totally confused. Lotsa thoughts crossed my mind about how all of this was gonna go down. I felt like I didn't give white people enough credit (not you guys, you guys are ok). I figured most people would be on the Barak train so they wouldn't be accused of being racists and when they got in the booth...well you know.

I got news for you muthafuckas, I wasn't the only one. There were lotsa black people skeptical about the white vote. Upon victory it really hit me. The majority of this country no matter the race, was on the same page. Maybe they were tired of the mediocrity and disgrace brought to us by GEORGE HERBERT WALKER BUSH and DICK PIG HEART CHENEY or afraid of an old man who picked a vice president that didn't know africa was a continent.

But, somehow it seemed as if for the people that voted for Barack his skin color wasn't really even a thought. When I saw the massive amounts of people in the street celebrating, I really had to take a second to grasp what was really happening. It felt like a mix between new years eve, some kinda sports victory and the blackout. I thought about my 94 year old grandmother who lived through quite a few presidents. I'm pretty sure she never thought she would see that in her lifetime because I never thought I would see it in mine. That shit was inspiring.

Now on to something much more important....

First off, Nike decided not to release what I consider to be the hottest shit out...well not out. The Heavens Gate Dunk

which was inspired by the group of people who committed suicide together while rocking the classic Black Nike Cortez Joints. I guess they figured it would be in bad taste but if you ask me bad taste is better than bland.

Jordan is releasing a new Hi Top 1 with a strap on. C'mon I had to say it.

For some reason they felt a need to add a strap to these for whatever reason and I don't fuckin care. They're pure heat, consider them shits got. Oh and I wanna say whats up to Melo.

I checked out those Supras.They are pretty dope. I always keep an eye on Supra but something about them make me veer a little to the right when its time to buy them. Not sure what it is, maybe its Lil Wayne, but Chad Muska has a shoe from them and thats my man so maybe I should be a little more supportive. Then I came across the Supra wheat/nubuck joints. Thats what the fuck I'm talkin about.

Chad I'm on to these.

Finally, wanted to mention that I took a break from the shoe game to focus on furniture for the crib and I wanted to show this tv stand that I just spent a grip on.

Kinda hot though. Anyone out there got some kicks I need to see get at me.

Its been a few weeks since I posted and a few things have come out/happened during that time.

For starters Asics released their Pro Court B-ball shoe. (See above)

The front is patent leather which anyone who knows me, knows its a weakness. Considering that I fucks with Asics these must be copped.

Nike dropped a snakeskin Terminator.

Snakeskin is also a weakness for me it makes almost any shoe look dope but these Terminators are fuckin booty. I'm not feelin that. Maybe I need to see them up close.

Married to the Mob released a dunk (shout out to Leah, even though she hates me) The front is patent leather and the rest is like a herringbone fabric.

I'm feeling them shits too bad its a womans shoe. However, I know that wont stop some of you guys out there, just like it didnt stop you from buying those pink and grey 5's and those 8's. I'm gonna call you out too..unless you have on a matching blouse.

Nike dropped a black/white/gum dunk thats got me all hot and bothered...

I'm a sucker for a gum sole I tell ya.

The Jordan 6 Ring Concord dropped on saturday.

I think I'll sit this one down. When I look at it next to the actual 11 it really does remind me of looking at Chrysler 300 and a Phantom.

Reebok dropped the Pump Omni.

I gotta say I like the pumps I'm always looking out for them but I haven't really seen a pair that needs to be had.

Finally, I originally wanted to point out the Jordans Bow Wow had on the BET hip hop awards but then I noticed that he was trying to make a statement in regards to Da Brat, who by the way, is serving a 3 year sentence for hitting some lady in the head with a bottle. Bow Wow…what the fuck man? Really dude?

Ok let me just say, for starters, Paul Newman was the muh-fuckin man in my book. I've seen Cool Hand Luke at least 80 times, seriously. To this day I still can't figure out how you end up in federal fuck-you-in-the-ass prison for knocking over parking meters. Rest in peace man. I feel like "fuck sneakers" this week, to be honest with you, theres a lotta shit that went down this week. I'm a little thwarted so to speak...

...but since I know 'defcon' will call me at like 11am, I figured I'd just hand something in. First off, Geoff Rowley has a new shoe coming out with Vans. Every shoe he's had thus far has been the motherfucking shit. This one is fuckin the shit outta the mother as well if you ask me...

ok so...lets talk about my pick for this week. the verte/etnies collaborations of the ollie king and the jameson. verte is a clothing company started by my 2 close friends marc and tino razo. nyc skate legends. if you skate and dont know who they are its because youre 7.

i had the honor of receiving a pair of each this week (free shit!!) and im quite impressed. for starters theyre both comfortable as fuck. doesnt hurt that they are pure hotness either. im not sure where you can get them. i think theyre available at your average skateshops if theyre still around.

but now that i think about it i think i feel a flashback coming on....

A long time ago, on an avenue B far far away (before it looked like a college town.) tino razo and i were half naked in a shitty apartment with 3 swedish girls. when i say shitty i mean you could see the apartment downstairs through the whole in the floor. anyways, 2 of the girls were hot blondes and the 3rd was a hulking amazon brunette. in a corset. take a second...ok. it seemed like we had set the tone for the night. topless. at least for the time being. the hard part was gonna be a. which blonde? b. getting rid of the brunette.

it starts getting a little loose in the place im drunk as fuck, tino's drunk as fuck the girls are close to being drunk as fuck and i decide that nothing gets the party started like a massage. i pick the one i wanted to massage and it was on. of course the other one wanted a massage too so tino rose to the task. all was well my friends. i started to hear slight moans and knew that i was halfway there until...a voice cries out "who's gonna massage me?" it was the big one. i think everyone looked at each other like "damn". i figured im gonna go ahead and take one for the team so that we can end up in a better position on the other side of this perilous venture im about to take....i like to think of the bigger picture. so i decide to let tino off the hook and tell her to lay down and climbed on top of her. her back was pretty big. i mean, my back is pretty big. at least by my tailors standards. i started massaging her back and i turn around and tino is massaging the girl i had and the other one was like smoking and crying or something. in my mind i was like "dammit! i knew this brolic bitch was gonna ruin everything! i knew it!" i had to think fast. i just decided to be done. i told her my hands were hurting (because it was like massaging a table) but by then tino was already hooking up.

party over plus my buzz was leaving me. we decided to go to this party at red square so we get dressed and bounce. the party is whatever, i have a few more drinks and the big swede is like kinda going at me pretty hard. im getting drunker, shes gettin hotter, i gotta get the fuck outta here. i go around the corner to this bar spoon and she was right behind me. we start walking towards the back and i tell her i was going to the bathroom downstairs. "i'll go with you". by this time i'm like fuck it whatever. i tell her that dont need any help and when we get to the edge of the steps, she looks me dead in the eye and then whispers in my ear "I-LOVE-TO-SUCK-COCKKK!" then as she took a step she fell down the stairs. if youve ever been to spoon then you know thats like 20 stairs at least. she didnt fall all the way to the bottom though. luckily her foot got caught between the rail and the wall. so she was pretty much upside down with one leg stuck.

i wasnt quite sure what to do at that point, but being that im drunk and somewhat of a bad person i just started laughing hysterically at the top of the stairs. (i know, i suck). i went over to see if she was ok and she was all scraped up and shit. i helped her release her foot and she gave me the dirtiest look ever. i guess i deserved it but its a small price to pay for such a golden moment. i ran down to the bathroom and immediately started laughing again until i vomited.

so there ya go. go cop those vertes. marc and tino need the money. one.

Sneak of the Week with Shannon from Activator: The Mint Green Sb Blazers

I ran into my man Dante Ross at Dave's Quality Meat on sunday and we did a little shopping. For those of you that have no idea what im talking about, its a shoe store on 3rd street between 2nd Ave and 3rd Ave.

It's a good place to go if you're looking for some shit you can't find at Foot Locker (Big up to my man sweet pea. Lick shot bo.) Anyways, Dante and I are over stimulated by all of the hot shit that we're surrounded by. But one, two, or maybe 3 things especially caught my eye. I immediately fell in love with my choice for this week's Sneak of the Week...the Mint Green Sb Blazers. Pure hotness. I was drawn to them the moment I walked in the store. Dante slept on them but had a late reaction obsession shortly after I pointed them out but they didnt have his size (ha-ha Dante). They had mine however, and them shits got copped with the quickness.

But being that I have a problem, I couldn't stop there. I ended up grabbing the Aqua Dunk Mid SB as well.

I almost got the ACG's but...well you know how it is. I also noticed they are about to release their signature DQM Perforated Dunks. Now in my eyes perforated anything is dope. I remember Torbitt from Chin Chin almost hit someone with a perforated bag of human shit once. He decided not to go through with it. Anyway they come in 3 colors.

I think they're going for $180. I'm pretty sure the battle will be on the day they come out, I want my perforations for slavery. I'm keeping this one short and sweet because its late and I've been drinking.

Wait. No I'm not. I wanted to mention that I saw this show called 'Sex with Mom and Dad' on MTV. It's a show where an offspring and a parent talk to each other about their sexual conquests. Dr. Drew is in it too. REALLY fucking uncomfortable to watch. I can't remember the last time I actually saw a music video on MTV. Yeah yeah I know this week is anti-climactic but I've been drinking tequila.

Sneak of the Week with Shannon from Activator: The Black and Purple Asics...

Jordan released another countdown pack featuring the Jordan 1 and the 22. Both are black and white they are both NOT getting copped by me. Nike dropped the "Shoe Goo" SB Dunk. For those that dont know 'Shoe Goo' was a substance that you put on your shoe to help avoid getting holes from ollies. I personally preferred the ollie patch that you made from the inner tube of a bike tire...

These are whatever to me but judging from the price ($149) they expect you guys to go nuts over them. Nike is also dropping the Terminator Low "Vintage",

which means that the soles are yellow and the leather looks worn. I hate that shit. It's like buying expensive designer ripped jeans, dirty on purpose? Fuck you, hipster ass hipster. Oh yeah, Adidas is killing it this week with The Strider pack.

The Strider is from the 80's, its kinda like the lead in to the Adidas decade which was the shoe of choice for hardcore kids. Just look at those Youth of Today Gorilla Biscuits photos. It was like a Youth Crew uniform and although I wasn't in the youth crew but I had them shits. Black mid with white stripes. Pure hotness... so I'm in the store the other day and saw some Asics that I was ready to rescue but they didnt have my size. I thought to myself, "Damn. muhfuckas totally forgot about the Asics." Then a thought came to my mind, these shoes remind me of the time when...

My man invited me to this showcase he was having at The Supper Club for these new artists he was working with. They were all coming out on this label he was building up with his man and some other dudes. I was a little skeptical because I know how rap showcases can be and I didn't wanna be around to see him if it was whack. I figured it couldnt be all that bad and at least him and his man that he did his joint with would be performing, so I agreed to go. I had on the black and purple Asics. I loved them shits. Anyway I go to The Supper Club with my cousin's husband Ronnie Wright, who is like one of the original "black" celebrity photographers. He hung out with Big Daddy Kane and Keith Sweat ALL the time but thats another story. We get to The Supper Club and right when we walk in the door we see the GZA. Ronnie and him start talking and we walk to the back, I was psyched. I'm at a showcase standing with the GZA watching hip hop. My man walks in, says whats up to everybody, and starts the show. I only really recognized one of the tall dudes rhyming because he did a song with my homie. He was the only one that didn't have an Avirex or Pelle Pelle jacket. Everybody seemed so young, to be honest with you I can't even remember who they were but the tall dude was killing it. I looked over at the GZA to see if he was feeling it, it was hard to tell. He was like wallpaper. Then the tall dude was like "this one is the single off my debut" it had a singer doing the hook. I always hated that, a female singer that seemed really monotone, but his verses were dope. When it was over I was glad I didn't have to jet to the exit to avoid having to pretend like I enjoyed some bullshit. He walked straight over to me with the dude, I told him I thought he was dope. He was really cool and appreciative so he handed me a cd single, it looked like he made it at home as it had the thin jewel case with the title printed on the cardboard. My man says "what did you think?" I told him I thought his boy was dope but I wasn't too into the other dudes and I left it at that. To be honest with you I didn't think I would ever hear the shit again, at least not on the radio, I figured I would play it for my friends and then discard it. I said goodbye to my man and the other dude and headed for the train. The other dude yelled out to me "check that out" I looked at the cd cover and it said "In my Lifetime" that dude was Jay-z. Who knew?

I don't know where to start, it's been a pretty busy week. First off Puma is coming out with the Screaming Hand Puma- first round, a little tribute to the Santa Cruz skateboard company. It made me wonder what Puma ever did for skateboarding but then I remembered how The Sky 2 was the ill skate shoe. Steve Caballero was rockin them black and red joints when he did that backside boardslide on park bench for the cover of Thrasher. I'm not so crazy about them but if youre interested they came out saturday and they're most likely still at alife. (What up rob!)

I am happy as a muhfucka to announce that Adidas is re-releasing two dope ass shoes. Finally they realize that they don't have to keep making all of these stupid designs and just stick with the hotness that had them on top in the past. First off the Torsion Bank Shot hi top...

...will drop again in jan but so will The Metro Attitude Knicks, which by the way used to be The Ewings. If you remember a few weeks ago I did a feature on those, if you dont, go check it out. It makes me really happy to know those will be back in my closet. Don't tell Nike.

Jordan has the true flight coming, looks kinda cool. Not so into the red stitching which makes it look a little too "lifestyle". It looks a lot like the 7 with some tweaking.

Those also come in january but even sooner is yet another Spiz'ike that you cant get in the states.

What the fuck? I mean even though these look a little "Fulton street" (if you know what I mean), why hold out on the states? Just like the cool grey, no bueno Michael but I know Jordan got some shit up the sleeve so ima fall back.

Theres something both hot and not hot about them. Thats kinda how I feel about Air Max in general.
